After stealing the pic, the Facebook user "Afina" posed as Ireland and then posted her photo onto their Facebook profile with an invitation for other pregnant women to upload and post their pictures.
#3 Warnings on Facebook
After Ireland's pregnant picture was used to lure other pregnant women to post images on Afina's profile. Facebook users quickly realized what was happening and warned other pregnant moms not to fall into the "sick scam."
#4 Ireland Felt Rightly Violated..
She expresses, "It's not the fact my photos are out there - it's what they're using me for. That's what really got under my skin."
#5 Afina's Profile Hides a Pregnancy Fetish
Afina went to extreme lengths to appear as a "bona fide local mom" befriending pregnant groups to seem legit. There's no doubt Ireland's pregnancy stood out and was distinctive with her body's transformation and size of her belly. She said, she didn't give birth to twins as the bogus Facebook profile comments below.
#6 Facebook's Profile 'Afina'
It's been reported the Afina profile had collected images of women from mothers' group pages in Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Thankfully the profile has since been removed after being reported to Facebook's administration.
